Fielder is the founding member of the Fielder polymer-jacket family. A polymer jacket over the distal spring coil, finished with 22 cm of hydrophilic coating, gives the wire the advanced slip performance and trackability that made the family the reference for smooth lesion access: the wire glides through tortuosity and across lesions with minimal surface friction, while the 1.0 gf tip keeps enough body for dependable steering in everyday PCI. Within the family, Fielder is the balanced frontline choice: Fielder FC offers a softer tip for the most delicate anatomy, and the tapered Fielder XT series extends the platform into CTO microchannel tracking. The plain Fielder remains the workhorse configuration — a non-tapered 0.014 in polymer wire for routine wiring where slip performance shortens procedure time. Fielder is available with straight or J tip in 180 cm standard and 300 cm exchange lengths, all sharing the 12 cm coil, 3 cm radiopaque segment and polymer-plus-hydrophilic coating system.
