Silverway brings Asahi Intecc's interventional wire engineering to the diagnostic side of the cath lab: a 0.035 in (0.89 mm) angiographic guidewire for placing diagnostic and guiding catheters. Its hybrid coating divides the shaft into three zones with distinct jobs — the distal 15 cm carries silicone coating with deliberately decreased tip lubricity to enhance safety at the vessel wall, the middle 65 cm is hydrophilic for deliverability through tortuosity, and the proximal shaft returns to silicone so torque control is never compromised by an over-slippery surface. The tip uses a double coil structure that improves durability and resists deformation across multiple catheter exchanges, and ACT ONE composite-core technology in the shaft delivers the torque response transmission Asahi wires are known for — the tip follows hub rotation faithfully, making sub-selective catheter placement faster. Silverway is coated with SLIP-COAT and offered in angle, J-shape 1.5 mm and J-shape 3.0 mm tips across six usable lengths from 150 cm to 300 cm — eighteen configurations covering radial and femoral diagnostic and interventional catheter delivery.
