MitraClip™ delivers a minimally invasive treatment option for select patients with primary or secondary mitral regurgitation (MR). With more than 20 years of clinical experience and over 200,000 patients treated worldwide, MitraClip™ is a well-established procedure with the highest-reported to date MR reduction, proven safety and survival, and durable clinical outcomes. The MitraClip™ G5 TEER system is built around the clip delivery system and a dedicated steerable guide catheter. It is available in four clip sizes — NT, NTW, XT and XTW — allowing the operator to match clip geometry to the target mitral anatomy. Each clip delivery system may be ordered on its own or bundled with the MitraClip™ G5 steerable guide catheter (SGC0802). Transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) therapy is recommended by the ESC/EACTS and ESC/HF Guidelines for patients with severe secondary mitral regurgitation (SMR) or primary mitral regurgitation (PMR). A Heart Team approach is recommended by the guidelines to ensure optimal patient selection and outcomes. Alongside the G5 platform, the earlier MitraClip™ G4 system remains referenced for EU MDD, EU MDR and other-country markets, each with matching clip delivery systems, steerable guide catheters and required accessories (stabilizer, lift and support plate).
