ASAHI Meister® is Asahi's 0.41 mm (0.016 in) guidewire for peripheral vascular intervention and interventional radiology, summarised by the manufacturer as torqueable, shapeable and trackable. ACT ONE construction provides precise one-to-one torque transmission for selective work; a stainless-steel core — in contrast to nitinol-core wires — allows the tip to be shaped and re-shaped easily at the table; and a long polymer jacket (130–175 cm depending on length) with matching hydrophilic coating enhances tracking through tortuous anatomy. Factory tip shapes include angled 45°, round curve and angled double configurations across 135, 165 and 180 cm usable lengths, each with a 30 cm distal coil and 5 cm radiopaque segment. It is the natural wire companion to the ASAHI Tellus and Veloute microcatheters, which accept up to 0.016 in wires.
