ASAHI Gladius® MG18 PV ESProduct Code (REF): PP18R004P
ASAHI Gladius® MG18 PV ES extends the MG composite core platform into the 0.018 in peripheral wire format, providing a dedicated CTO crossing option for operators using 0.018 in-compatible peripheral interventional systems. The 0.018 in wire diameter accommodates peripheral balloon catheters and stents designed for the 0.018 in wire platform — a format common in peripheral vascular intervention for vessels where the larger wire diameter provides additional column strength and tracking stability compared to 0.014 in equipment. The MG core delivers high-penetration rotational CTO crossing capability within the 0.018 in format, while the Extra Support (ES) shaft provides the column strength needed to advance 0.018 in-compatible device platforms through diseased, calcified peripheral anatomy. Available in 200 cm and 300 cm, 0.018 in (0.46 mm).
Available under product codes PP18R004P, PP18R204P, PP18R304P.

Design & Technology
Technical characteristics and diagrams as published by Asahi Intecc.
Narrow Loop Micro Gap By keeping a narrow loop when crosing the occluded lesion, GW is able to minimize resistance from the lesion. It will be able to cross smoothly while avoiding subintimal space expansion.

Lasting Lubricity
Polymer jacket & Hydrophilic coating Because of its high lubricity, ASAHI Gladius MG PV series is able to advance smoothly even in long occluded lesion.

Tip durability
Creating narrow loop compare to competitors thus ACT ONE prevents deformation such as kink and torsion

Mini Pre-shape
It can be shaped in a large curve accroding to the procedure, and also maintain high shape retention.

The above data was obtained by company standardized test, which may differ from industry standardized tests. The data does not prove that all devices have exactly the same performance with the samples used for these tests.
