The construction pairs a 15 cm distal spring coil with an uncoated ball tip, preserving the tactile ball-tip feedback that characterises the Treasure line while keeping the tip load gentle enough for routine advancement through diseased peripheral vessels. Hydrophilic coating over the distal 15 cm reduces friction in the working segment, and a 3 cm radiopaque length marks the tip under fluoroscopy. Available in 190 cm and 300 cm usable lengths on the 0.45 mm (0.018 in) platform, it serves as the family's frontline and exchange wire around which the higher tip-load Treasure and Astato wires escalate.
